Refund, Cancellation & Shipping Policy

Effective Date: August 18, 2026

At Nova GLP-1, we strive to provide clear information about our services, prescription treatment process, billing, cancellations, and shipping. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing services or enrolling in a recurring treatment program.

1. Prescription Orders and Refund Eligibility

Because prescription treatment involves medical evaluation, provider review, pharmacy processing, and fulfillment services, certain fees and charges become non-refundable once the treatment process has begun.

A refund generally will not be available in the following circumstances:

  • Medical intake or prescription processing has begun. Once you submit the required medical information for an initial evaluation, Nova GLP-1 and its affiliated healthcare professionals may begin reviewing your information and determining whether treatment is appropriate. Because clinical and administrative resources may be committed at that point, the applicable order or service may no longer qualify for a refund.
  • A recurring subscription payment has already been processed. Cancelling a subscription will prevent future recurring payments but does not automatically reverse a payment that has already been successfully processed.
  • A prescription has been submitted to or processed by a pharmacy. Once medication has entered the prescription fulfillment process, cancellation or refund may no longer be available.
  • Medication has been dispensed or shipped. Prescription medications may be subject to federal and state pharmacy requirements that restrict their return, resale, reuse, or redistribution. For safety and regulatory reasons, medication that has been dispensed or shipped generally cannot be returned for a refund.

2. Situations Where a Refund May Be Available

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be available in limited circumstances.

Medical Eligibility

If a Nova GLP-1 healthcare provider determines during the initial clinical evaluation that you are not medically appropriate or eligible for the requested treatment, a refund of an applicable eligible payment may be provided.

Refund eligibility may be affected if inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information was provided during the medical intake or consultation. Patients are responsible for providing complete and accurate medical and medication information.

Billing or Payment Errors

If Nova GLP-1 identifies a confirmed billing mistake, such as an accidental duplicate charge or an incorrect charge made by Nova GLP-1, the affected amount may be refunded.

3. How to Submit a Refund Request

Refund requests must be submitted in writing and should include the patient’s name, the date of payment, and a description of the issue.

Requests may be submitted:

Email: care@novaglp1.com

Mail: Nova GLP-1, 140 Main Street, Hutchinson, MN 55350

To be eligible for consideration, a refund request should be submitted within 28 days of the applicable payment date. Requests submitted after this period may be denied unless required otherwise by applicable law.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. Each request will be reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction, the status of the prescription or service, and applicable legal and pharmacy requirements.

4. Subscription Cancellation

Patients enrolled in a recurring monthly program may cancel their subscription at any time to prevent additional recurring charges.

Cancellation applies to future billing periods and does not automatically result in a refund of a payment that has already been processed.

If a prescription has already been approved, transmitted for fulfillment, prepared, or otherwise entered into the pharmacy process, cancellation of the subscription may not stop that particular order or make the associated payment refundable.

Once medication has been shipped, the order generally cannot be cancelled, recalled, modified, or returned for a refund.

5. Pharmacy, Fulfillment, and Delivery Timelines

We work with our pharmacy partners to process and ship your medication as efficiently as possible. Please allow the following estimated timeframes:

Prescription Processing: 2–5 business days

After your treatment has been approved, your prescription is submitted to the pharmacy for processing. Prescription processing generally takes 2–5 business days.

Fulfillment & Shipping: 3–6 business days

Once your prescription has been processed, the pharmacy will prepare and ship your medication. Fulfillment and shipping generally take an additional 3–6 business days.

Estimated Total Timeline: 5–11 business days

From prescription processing through delivery, most orders should arrive within approximately 5–11 business days after approval.

Please note that these timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Processing or delivery may take longer due to medication availability, pharmacy volume, weekends, holidays, weather, carrier delays, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Patients should ensure that the shipping information provided during checkout or the intake process is accurate and complete. Nova GLP-1 is not responsible for delays or delivery problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the patient.

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe or you have questions about its status, please contact our care team at 320-510-7170 or care@novaglp1.com.

6. Service Availability

Nova GLP-1 currently provides its services to eligible patients who are physically located in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, subject to applicable state laws, provider availability, and clinical eligibility requirements.

We do not currently accept or ship orders outside of these states or to international destinations.

7. Clinical Eligibility and Treatment Decisions

Payment for an evaluation or treatment program does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.

All prescription decisions are made by appropriately licensed healthcare professionals based on the patient’s medical information, clinical circumstances, applicable standards of care, and legal requirements.

Nova GLP-1 does not guarantee that every patient will qualify for a particular medication or treatment.

8. Policy Changes

Nova GLP-1 may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, pharmacy requirements, or applicable laws and regulations.

The version of the policy in effect at the time of a transaction will generally apply to that transaction, unless a different requirement is imposed by applicable law.

9. Patient Acknowledgment

By purchasing services, submitting a medical intake, enrolling in a recurring program, or otherwise using Nova GLP-1 services, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review this Refund, Cancellation & Shipping Policy and understand the conditions described above.
